GMC Hummer EV Pickup With Accessory Red Lettering: Live Photos
The GMC Hummer EV isn’t your typical off-roader, resurrecting the legendary Hummer nameplate as an all-new, all-electric trail-ready machine replete with cutting-edge techno wizardry. Critically, the new Hummer EV can be had with a number of optional upgrades and accessories, including red lettering, as seen in the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
As seen in the following photos provided by a GM Authority reader, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup pictured below is equipped with bright red badging front to back, providing an attractive offset to the stark white-and-black color scheme. The new red lettering is part of the off-roader’s range of Alternate Finish Badges, which replace the standard silver badges with either Red, Black, or Tech Bronze substitutes, as GM Authority covered previously.
Set against the white paint, these badges really shine, showing off the bright “H” while the chunky lines of the pickup body style keep it simple in black and white. The red badging can be seen in the door, while 18-inch two-tone wheels wrapped in 35-inch rubber are mounted in the corners. Up top, we spot a black roof treatment.
The new red badging is also located in the rear of the vehicle, where we see large Hummer script set on top of the tailgate. Below the tailgate is a pair of tow hooks in black, housed by a black bumper.
As a reminder, the GMC Hummer EV is offered with several different powertrain options, including a range-topping three-motor arrangement doling out 1,000 horsepower on the GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. The GMC Hummer EV is also offered with a two-motor setup, and an SUV body style.
Under those burly body panels, the GMC Hummer EV rides on the all-electric GM BT1 platform, sourcing motivation from General Motors’ Ultium Battery and Ultium Drive technologies. Production is under way now at the recently reopened GM Factory Zero plant, formerly known as GM Detroit-Hamtramck.
